As soon as the Holy Spirit encouraged me to write about the word Provide, I instantly thought of the song that Tamela Mann sings, “G-d Provides” – here is the first verse.

God provides
So why do I worry about my life?
When you come to my rescue a thousand times
Every other voice it is a lie
God provides
God provides
In ways I can't explain and can't deny
The little that I have He multiplies
Just when I feel He won't show up on time
God provides
He'll come through
When the clouds of doubt rain down on you
And test everything you thought you knew
Now you finally see what God can do for you
So tonight
Close your eyes there's no more need to fight
Watch God provide

Yes, our G-d will provide and does provide what we need.  “He Sees and He knows ALL THINGS.” Look at the following passages of scriptures on provision.

Philippians 4:19 – “And my G-d will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.”

Matthew 6:25 – “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes?”

In Matthew 6:26-33, the L-RD Jesus continues to teach that you do not have to worry. The birds do not worry and yet our heavenly Father feeds them. The flowers do not worry about getting dressed, yet they are more beautiful than clothing. If G-d can clothe the flowers and feed birds, what about you and me?

G-d will provide what we need. “Give us this day, our daily bread.” He will give what is needed for us to share with others. A word of encouragement, a smile, a phone call or a visit. Even in the midst of adversity, sickness, trials, and uncertainty, we can look to the L-RD who is the “author and finisher of our faith.” (Hebrews 12:2a)

I encourage you to open your hearts to Him, ask for instructions for the day and do not worry about tomorrow. Do your best and be your best!

I will leave you with this passage of scripture in the book of Joshua, chapter 1, verse 9.

“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the L-RD your G-d is with you wherever you go.” (emphasis mine)
