"Therefore encourage one other and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing." (1 Thessalonians 5:11)

Paul teaches Believers to comfort one another; meaning to strengthen, affirm, reassure and bring emotional stability. In marriage, this is exactly what it means to "keep learning" each other. Learning what comforts one another, discourages one another, their fears or what brings joy to one another. You will always have a difficult time trying to build what you do not understand.
This scripture teaches that maturity grows through comforting and building one another. When spouses intentionally learn each other, they comfort each other, communicate better and love more intentionally.
