ALONE TIME and FAMILY TIME are both important for a healthy and balanced marriage.
Spending quality time together as a family strengthens love, unity, and shared memories, while alone time allows husbands and wives to rest, reflect, and grow personally.
Healthy marriages understand the value of balance—cherishing moments together while also respecting each other’s need for quiet time and personal space.
When couples support both family connection and individual well-being, they create a stronger, more peaceful relationship.

Before we got married, we both prayed and sought the LORD asking for a scripture as confirmation. We both were in our separate homes and both had our Bibles out. At random, we would open the Bible and if we found a scripture on the page, we said it would be God's will for us to marry. We did not see any scriptures on the pages pertaining to marriage and on my end of the phone, my head dropped with my eyes closed, but my husband turned only one page over and this is the verse on the top page in his Bible.
Ecclesiastes 9:9 (KJV) - "Live joyfully with the wife whom thou lovest all the days of the life of thy vanity, which he hath given thee under the sun, all the days of thy vanity: for that is thy portion in this life, and in thy labour which thou takest under the sun."
Needless to say, we were very excited and have visited this scripture and have shared with couples over the years.
It's also very important to spend quality time with your family. Here are a few key scriptures. All scriptures are taken from the New International Version (NIV).
Enjoy your family and take the time to pray, read the scriptures together, cherished special moments and encourage each other in love.
